           Jwala-mata (Jobner) is an ancient and famous Shakti-Peeth of Rajasthan,Which is recognized for centuries in folk.This Shakti-Peeth is located approximately 45 kilometers in the west of Jaipur at the ancient town Jobner. Jobner is an ancient city of historical and cultural significance.The literary texts and inscriptions appear antiquity of Jobner,In which it is mentioned by various names like Jabbaner, Jovnpuri, Jobneri etc. Another name  "Jogner", that is found in "Kurmvilas" appears its ancient name. It is believed that it's original name was "Yogini Nagar"(The Elf's City) and in course of time it became Jogini Nagar> Jogner> Jobner.
